Keeping with the tradition of Italy's trattorias—the sights, the sounds, the aromas—Il Fornaio takes guests on a culinary journey through the land of pasta and wine. Rustic, crisp bread is baked fresh every morning, and lunch and dinner feature pastas with flavorful sauces and meats and vegetables roasted over hot coals. As a part of Il Fornaio's 2010 Festa Regionale, the restaurant invites diners to join a monthly culinary expedition through the diverse regions of Italy, celebrating the various types of food found in each area.
