Bloomingale's at Santa Monica Place
On Tuesday, August 17, the new Bloomingale's at Santa Monica Place
welcomed in concierges for a private gathering and fall fashion show
featuring some of our favorite concierges. On Level 2 on the new
department store Bloomingdale's showcased its new b-Style Bar—a new
concept in personal shopping that allows customers to work individually
with a personal stylist and coordinate a look from head to toe for any
occasion. Guests were treated to red and white wine pourings by Malibu Grapes
and menu tastings by modern Chinese restaurant Xino, Italian restaurant
Il Fornaio and French restaurant La Cachette Bistro. Bloomingdale's General
Manager, Rhonda Lantz-Teichert was on hand to welcome guests and offered personal
tours of her new store. PR Manager Kerry Borland and b-Style Bar Manager, Melissa Hoffmann
coordinated the night's fall fashion show that included concierge models Sean Najarro
of the Viceroy Santa Monica; Dolly Shukla, The Savvy Traveler; Goran Ljubinovic of the
Palos Verdes Inn; Joseph Perez of The London West Hollywood; and Mytzia Garcia of the
Raddison LAX. Each restaurant raffled off dining certificates for two (2) to return to
their respective restaurants, Malibu Grapes raffled off a bottle of wine and a custom
wine tour, Top Notch Ticket Service's Julia Salter was on hand with cash prizes and
Bloomingdale's raffled off a gift package by David Yurman that included a men's bracelet
and a bottle of fragrance that went to the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills' Asha Gradek. The
$500 Bloomingdale's gift card went to the Downtown Business Improvement District's
Leo Hoffmann.
